Are you storing items like ship attributes in external XML files to make modding easier? How are you handling system to system travel?
Yes it’s all stored in XML. There is also an API with extensible DLLs for more advanced modder.
Interstellar travel is either done by warping (when warp drive is installed on the ship) or through warp gates which can be built if the player has unlock the associated technology.
Been following this for a while and liking what i see so far
